General and About Us.
1. Who made your website, and how often do you update it?
I made this website myself from scratch. Bare with with me cause I'm not a professional website designer. I got the graphics business down pat and next on my list is website creation and design. I am constantly learning though so keep looking for improvements as time goes by. I update the site atleast every week with new customers rides, graphics and more. Please feel free to post comments on the guestbook about what you think I need.
2. Why did you close you local store?
Local customers only: (website is in full effect)
We have closed our local El Paso store and went out of business.
I will however still be at the North Park Mall on Sunday from 9 AM until 3 PM at the corner of Dyer and Diana.
I can make regular decals there and ONLY SOME custom orders.
If you need special print and cut decals or designs you can order them on Sunday and I can bring them for the next Sunday. I am unable to deliver during the week or take large projects as I am busy working on another job.
If you need your customer file and would rather do business else where I understand and will be happy to give it to you.
3. How long have you been in business?
Me and my wife have been making decals and the like since 1999. For about 4 years before that I installed car stereos and car alarms and we had our own shop doing that as well.
4. Can I get a discount?
Though I hate to say no to my customers. I feel I have my prices as low as they can go. If I go any lower then the rent for the shop won't get paid. There are however big discounts for quantity or wholesale purchases. Feel free to contact me and let me know what your interested in and I'll give you the best price possible.
5. How can I buy stuff on this site?
Many of our graphics use our shopping cart system, but many are not configured with the shopping cart as there are just to many possibilities. For these use our manual ordering system on the payment page. Just follow steps 1 through 3. It's easy. I can then send an invoice for the total.
6. Thanks for the graphics, can I put my ride on your site?
Hey. Just email me the pic with some comments and I'll take care of the rest. I have alot of customer art and rides here already. Not only vehicles either. We have drawn art for tattoos, signs, and more. Check em' out.Send me your anything you like and thanks.
7. Will you sell me your clipart on disk so I can sell the same stuff you do?
It took me many years to create and or vectorize the thousands of designs I have one by one. At the moment we are not interested in selling the clipart in this manner. Me and my wife like like having a collection that may be different from our competitors. Our artist Joe Mendi is great at drawing designs give him a call and see what he can do for you.
8. I would like to do what you do, how would I get started?
I here this question about once a week. I'm not afraid of competition so if you like it then go for it. My only advice is do your research first before blowing your whole savings. I've seen countless people buy a machine and then sell it 2 months later cause its not as easy as they thought it would be. I learned the business on my own and I'm not a genius so, if your a fast learner and good with a computer you could too. It was slow at first but after a few years of building up my customers now I can make a living at it.
9. If I bring a picture can you turn it into a sticker?
Yes, Bring it to me or email it to me. I can make it into a sticker. sometimes its an easy matter of scanning it and sometimes we have to recreate the art completely. One way or another we can usually get it done. The price wil vary from design. The ideal picture to bring me would be like a coloing book picture (no shading, just Black & White). If Joe has to redraw the art a charge of $20 is usual.
10. Do you make custom designs?
Yes, We can custom create a logo using the fonts and graphics I have in stock or draw a custom design for you. We can create it one way or another. Also see Joe's page as he can custom draw a design for you. Then we can turn it into a decal.
11. Do you make T-shirts?
We used to make T-shirts but has since stopped. We now are focusing completely on making decals. You can see our cool links ssection for a couple people that make t-shirts exclusively.

13. I contacted you and haven't recieved a reply. What's up?
I never hear this question but just incase. I always reply. Check your spam tools and junk email folder. Sometimes the reply message gets put there by mistake. Also feel free to contact me again because alot of people mistype there email address on the contact form.
1. How do I create a family decal on your website?
Go to the family decal creation page. Choose your category (Moms, Dads, etc). The family members in that category will appear. One click to choose one. Then you can add a name, or click the "no name" check box. Your chosen member will appear above. You can add and remove as many family members as you want. Also you can optionally choose fonts (lettering styles), color, and a header for the family sticker. You can add and remove or even move members over by clicking on the buttons under each family member in the sample you created. After your happy you can add the design to your shopping cart. After checkout we will email you a sample of the design you created. Simply reply with an approval and we will ship out you family sticker.
2. A letter came off my family decal. Can you send a new replacement letter?
No problem. Sometimes you may need a letter or two. All I need is your order number and the replacement letters are free. Contact me and tell me your order number and what letter(s) you need and I'll get them out to you quick.
3. My decal was folded in the package. Will this affect the final result?
We sometimes fold the longer decals (decals longer than 18 inches) so it will fit in the package. We fold it in between the members so it will not hurt the decal or make the application more difficult in anyway. The application tape and wax paper will be discarded after application anyways.
4. Which color stands out best on the windows?
White is the most popular. Especially for the family stickers. It stands out very well on the window tinted or not and goes with any color vehicle. Other popular color choices are silver, red, gold, and yellow which all stand out good on glass too.
5. Is it safe to put the names of our kids on the family decal?
This is a matter of personal preference. I personally think it's fine to put the names but if you dont want the names of your family under the members you can put "Mom, Dad, Brother, Son, Sister, Doggy, etc" ...or leave it blank. If you do order it with the names you can always remove the names before or after application with no problem.
6. What's the best way to apply my family sticker?
Here's 3 of the most important tips:
(a) Its very important to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol.
(b) I recommend giving the decal a firm squeegee before peeling of the wax paper.
(c) Apply to a dry surface. Don't apply when windy or in direct sunlight.

7. What size are the family members?
I usually make the dad around 4 to 4.5 inches tall and go down from there. If theres a specific size you had in mind just let me know. I'll be glad to acomodate as long as its not too small. Smaller is harder to create. After ordering your decal I always send a sample .jpg graphic to the email provided when you checked out. I put the total size of the decal and the size of the largest member on the sample graphic.
8. I already paid for a family sticker. How can I give you the list of family members that I want?
If you bought your family sticker from us elsewhere, like our local store or another web purchase, and you already paid and just need the list of members, then click on the small "give me the list" button at the bottom right of the page. Simply choose your members and create your decal as normal then when done click on the button. You'll be taken to the family list page. You can highlight the list of your chosen members and copy and paste it into a message to me.
9. Why did I get 2 copies of the family sample email?
We send 2 copies just incase your email spam filter accidentally catches one and logs it as spam. This is to better make sure you get your sample.
10. What the difference from buying directly from your site and your auction.
When you buy from the site you get a family decal sample sent to your email in the form of a .jpg graphic. You can check the sample and let me know if there are any size changes or postion changes that need to made made. Once approved by you, I send the decal the next day (sometimes even the same day) - no waiting. When you buy from the auction you DO NOT get a sample proof, the family figures are sent in the default size. Also when you buy directly from the website here we save your order and you get free replacement letters if needed. Also the shipping charge here on the site is cheaper.
11. Missing letter? My family decal is missing a letter. Can you resend the missing letter?
Sure. Due to the fact that this decals are made by hand, we do occasionally make a mistake by missing a letter. Contact us and we will send the missing letter(s) right away. In the meantime you can apply the decal normally and when the letter arrives in the mail simply add it.
12. How long does it take to arrive?
It's most important to approve the sample proof we email to you(applies to orders from this website only), and we will get your order shipped very quickly. We will verify that you approved the sample and send you a return email telling you we will now ship your decal. Then we will send your family sticker first class mail USPS which takes 2-5 days.
Decal Application and Troubleshooting
1. I have bubbles in my decal after applying it. Is there a way to remove them?
There is almost always a few bubbles in the decal after appling. This is completely normal, especially with multicolor (layered) decals, where the colors join. Most will go away by themselves after a week or two. You may also pop them with a pin or razor and force out the trapped air. If you applied the decal with the wet method, the bubbles will evaporate and be gone in about a week in the warm sun.
2. The application tape looks wrinkled (bubbled up) after I opened my package and layed the decal out flat. Will this affect the decal?
This happens sometimes because the paper expands differently than the application tape due to changes in warmer tempurature. Usually by leaving the decal in a cool tempurature area (air conditioned) the wrinkles will go away. You could also try to lightly sqeegee the decal (like with drivers license). This usually does the trick. If not peel the backing paper off the decal slowly and reapply it to the wax paper carefully one side at a time. Also see the wrinkled decal tip's page.
3. Is there a warranty for the life of my decal?
There is no guarantee on how long the decals will last. Most decals will last anywhere from 6 months to a 5 years or even more when applied to the window or vehicle body. What does this mean. It means there are alot of variables that can affect the life of the decal. I would go as far to say we have had no problems with our decals and how long they last.
4. I messed up my decal putting it on. Can you make me a new one?
Please be extra patient applying the decals and see the installation instructions and tips page. If you do happen to mess it up then contact me and let me know what happened. Provide proof (digital picture) the decal was messed up and I might be able to offer a new one free. You would be responsible for a $5 shipping and handling fee only. This installation garauntee does not apply to all orders and excludes any of the special colors. But please let me know what happened, I try to be as fair as possible.
5. I left my decal in the sun and now it looks all wrinkled up. Is it ruined?
This happens due to tempurature changes between the application tape and wax paper. Leave the decal in a cool, or air conditioned room for a while and the decal should go back to normal. (Sometimes overnight).
6. Does the tempurature outside affect application of my decal in any way?
Yes. I recommend to alway test with the sample decal first if your gonna apply in tempurature extremes. We always send a sample decal of our logo with every order that you can try first if unsure. Most importantly clean surface with rubbing alcohol, apply to a dry surface and don't apply in direct sunlight or windy weather conditions. Check out the decal instructions too.
7. How long do the decals last? What variables affect the life of them?
Many, many variable affect the life of the decals. Here are some:
- Angle of the surface to which you apply it. 90 degree angles, such as trucks back windows recieve less direct sunlight. This decreases fading. A hood install will catch alot of direct sunlight and heat.
- Amount of time vehicle is in sunlight or out in the weather. If its garage the decal could potentially last forever.
- Tempurature extremes. Ultra hot weather could dry out almost any substance, including vinyl decals. Ultra hot weather could eventually cause cracking.
- Overwaxing and cleaning. If you love to wax and wash your car every weekend this could slightly affect the life of the decals.
- Not cleaning the window with rubbing alcohol is a big mistake. This is my most important tip to ensure a long decal life. Especially with newer vehicles. Some newer vehicle windows have a slimey like rain-x compound on the glass which needs to be cleaned off.
- Certain colors last longer than others. White resists fading more because, well, its already white. Chrome and mirror gold aren't recommended for outdoor use and tend to only last about 6 months to a year.
the good news is that most graphics will last about 2-5 years but theres no guarantee as to how long they will actually last due to the many variables that can affect their longetivity.
Decals and Stickers
1. I wanted to order some decals in quantity for our team. How can I get a price for this?
No problem. We've did many decals for teams both around town here in El Paso and around the country. Just contract me and let me know the quantity, color, and size of the decals you need. There are many designs in the main decal catalog that can be customized, such as baseball and football decals.
2. I wanted to order a calvin pisser decal from your shopping cart. Can I add some small text to the decal?
No problem. Just let me know after checking out. You can tell me in the paypal comments box when checking out or contact me.
3. Which color works best on glass? I'm not sure which color to choose.
Most popular color is definately white, but any light color works well on glass and stands out well. Of course white stands out best on tinted or not tinted windows. See the colors section as there are some tips listed next to some of the popular colors.
4. Can I add a small name to the decal I ordered from the shopping cart?
When you order a decal I don't mind adding a small name to customize it. Just let me know in the paypal comments box when paying or in a message and I'll be happy to customize it for you.
5. Why do you have a separate website with more decals on it? Which site should I order from?
We have a main decals catalog section where you can order a decal by entering the size and color. You can choose from over 8000 designs here. I designed and created this section of the site.
We also have a separate shopping cart site where I put some popular and really cool, ready sized decals that you can order with the click of a button. I did not design this website, but simply added a bunch of the coolest and most popular designs to the section.

Shipping and package
1. How are the decals ordered from your shopping cart shipped?
We ship most orders from the shopping cart USPS First class. Larger than 18 inch decals are boxed and most smaller decals are put in a padded envelope with a do not bend stamp.
Family decals longer than 18 inches may be folded but we assure you this does not affect the decal output in any way.
2. Why is shipping more than postage?
We charge a shipping and handling fee that covers more than just the postage. It covers the paypal credit card fee (if any) which is usually about $1. It covers the box or padded envelope which is between $1 and $1.80. It covers the posting fee(if applicable). It covers postage, which is usually between $1 and $5 or more depending on the order. It covers any plastic bags, tape and other packaging materials. It also covers the labor charge to carefully package your item and delivery it to the post office.
3. The postman bent my decal. It got folded. Will it be alright?
If your decal got bent or folded in the mail it usually will still work. The decal is very durable. The decal clings to the plastic application tape, not the wax paper. Lightly sqeeguee out any wrinlkes and apply the decal normally. 99& of the time it will still be a perfect application. Also see the wrinkled decal page for more tips on installing a decal thats been folded and bent.
4. When should I expect my decal to arrive in the mail?
We ship most orders the same day you order it or the next day. Only large custom orders take longer. We ship most orders via USPS First class mail which usually takes about 2-5 days. Delivery confirmation is usually included and we will have your tracking info if you need it. International orders vary greatly and usually take about 2 weeks. I have seen them arrive faster though.
